Megan is an owner and co-founder of Surur & Thongkham Law, and focuses her practice on business formation, consulting and risk management, commercial litigation, and community association law. Megan brings extensive litigation and trial experience to the team, and has argued before the Nevada Supreme Court and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals on numerous occasions.
Megan excels at strategic case management and creative problem solving, and her clients know she will work tirelessly to develop effective legal strategies on their behalf. Like her partner, Megan also enjoys giving back to the community and is a frequent volunteer for Legal Aid of Southern Nevada.
She was named as Nevada Business Legal Elite in 2018 and as a Mountain States Super Lawyers’ Rising Star from 2018 - 2024.
Outside of work, Megan enjoys boxing and hiking, a good book and strong coffee, and spending time with her family and friends.

Successfully defended clients against temporary injunction arising from purported violations of Non-Compete Agreement (“NCA”), resulting in judicial “blue-pencil” of unenforceable provisions in NCA in clients’ favor.
Successfully represented district court judge in a lawsuit filed in federal court by internationally known former arms dealer.
Successfully represented attorney against a SLAPP complaint filed in federal court by an insurance company and affirmed on appeal after oral argument in the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.
Represented client in $100 million lawsuit involving fraud and conspiracy claims brought by timeshare company, and successfully defended client's privileged and confidential data from disclosure in discovery.
